Welcome to Midwifery Practice Hygiea

Located in Amsterdam South, Midwifery Practice Hygiea places personal care and attention at the heart of everything we do. We support (expectant) parents in Amsterdam and surrounding areas throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period—always with a focus on safety and trust, and in a way that suits your personal wishes.

With a close-knit team of four experienced midwives, we ensure continuity of care. Whether you choose to give birth at home, in a hospital, or in one of our atmospheric birthing rooms at the practice (including a birthing pool), we’re here for you.

We offer additional ultrasounds during pregnancy and take the time to answer all your questions. This way, you can feel fully prepared and confident as you look forward to welcoming your baby.
