Future Midwives in Training

At our practice, we believe in the power of collaboration and education. That’s why we welcome midwifery students throughout the year—ranging from first-year to final-year trainees.

These students are enrolled at the Midwifery Academy Amsterdam Groningen (AVAG) and are closely supervised by our experienced midwives. We also regularly host enthusiastic Dutch students who are studying midwifery in Belgium and are eager to gain valuable hands-on experience with us.

What does this mean for you?
During your appointments, you may occasionally meet a student who observes or assists under our supervision. This not only gives you the opportunity to share your experiences with a future midwife, but also contributes to the training of skilled and compassionate care providers. Of course, your comfort and trust are our top priorities, and you are always welcome to let us know whether or not you’d like a student to be present during your consultation.
